Birthday Card

As you know, yesterday was Dickinson’s 194th birthday.  

A few years ago, the Emily Dickinson Museum in Amherst, MA, had a special program called “Postcards to Emily,” and around her birthday week (month?); they asked people from around the world to send in postcards to the poet.

Here’s a letter/poem (pictured below) on the back of a chocolate wrapper wishing the poet a happy birthday.
