Let's Get This Party Started!

Party planners across the nation are in a bit of quandary. People are calling – desperate to plan parties – but they have no specific dates in mind for their events.

“How do you plan a party when the client can t even specify a date,” said Elizabeth “Izzy” Gahn, the Regional Strategic Supply Chain Applicator for Mission Possible Party Planners. 

“It’s difficult,” said Gahn, “but there are measures one can take.”

Key steps, according to Gahn, include the following:

* Define the purpose/theme
* Set a budget
* Create a guest list
* Scout venues
* Brainstorm entertainment and food options
* Maintain a flexible checklist

"I'll admit," said Gahn, "most callers do seem to have a common purpose these days, all centered on a death-watch, so Mission Possible Party Planners has developed some non-date-specific invitations."  Some examples of MPPP's open-ended invitations are below:
