| I suspect you've seen the news from yesterday associated with the picture shown at the left. Some online -- as seen in the picture's comment -- believe that this picture should be "placed in every history book" because it "encapsulates" his character. However, what the picture does not show, but the video coverage does, is that when the gentleman collapsed, RFK Jr., the Secretary of Health RAN OUT OF THE ROOM!!! He BOLTED! As a result, the picture AND the video coverage of the antediluvian dotard who makes no move to assist one in need AND the incompetent cabinet member who takes flight to hide when he is most needed encapsulates the entire Trump administration. Word around Washington is this -- that Trump fell asleep at his desk, unexpectedly filled his diaper with a fresh, ferocious load, and then the stench grew so foul that one dude fainted! THAT is why Trump is standing in the picture -- once he stood up, he realized he couldn't sit back down amid the muck, and he waited resignedly for his DCT (Diaper Changing Team). |
The entire incident called to mind a now-classic poem by Emmett Lee Dickinson, "Now he sits there in his Sleep," below on the left. Dickinson's poem inspired his third cousin Emily to pen her poem "Now I lay thee down to Sleep," below on the right.
| By Emmett Lee Dickinson: Now he sits there in his Sleep – I pray the Man won’t drop a heap – For if he does then one might fall – I pray to Lord the stench forestall – | By Emily Dickinson: Now I lay thee down to Sleep – I pray the Lord thy Dust to keep – And if thou live before thou wake – I pray the Lord thy Soul to make – |
