Just getting caught up: I posted the info below a few weeks ago as "Featured Poems of the Week." Since that page rotates through info & poems, I thought I'd preserve the poems here on my plog (poetry blog).
Back in In 2015, Adrian Bott (@cavalorn) tweeted: “‘I never thought leopards would eat MY face,’ sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People’s Faces Party.” This went viral, coining the phrase, “Leopards ate my face.” One of the latest victims: Caitlyn Jenner is crying the blues because the leopard ate her face!
TBH, I have no sympathy for people who vote against their own interests such as the Trump voters shown below (and many others like them). I hope things do not work out for them at all. I hope they go bankrupt and/or live to cry another day. Is that terrible? LOL. I'll ponder that later. For now, I'm going out for coffee. Does anyone want anything?
