AUGUST 2013The life and work of Emmett Lee Dickinson (Emily Dickinson's third cousin, twice removed -- at her request) has had a significant impact on great poets and authors though the years.
This August, the Emmett Lee Dickinson Museum (above the coin-op Laundromat on Dickinson Boulevard) will examine the influence of Dickinson on the works of writers such as Charles Dickens, Anton Chekhov, Maurice Sendak, Harper Lee, and many, many more! To view the exhibit, click HERE. |
AUGUST 2014Named for Nashton Euripides Burg, Nashburg, PA, is the world's capital of country poetry, the home to the Grand Ol' Po'try Hour on NPR's WELD radio station, and the birthplace of Emmy Lee Dickinson, whose country poems are recognized around the world as masterpieces of country po'try.
