JULY 2013What rhymes with Purple Cow?
Emmett Lee Dickinson (Emily Dickinson's third cousin, twice removed -- at her request) had a special relationship with Gelett Burgess, the poet who penned "I never saw a purple cow." Througout the month of July 2013, the Emmett Lee Dickinson Museum (above the coin-op Laundromat on Dickinson Boulevard) will explore this relationship and post some of Dickinson's favorite cow poems -- and all just in time for Cow Appreciation Day on July 15th!
