GET OUT OF THE HEAT AND INTO THE ART!
100 DAYS OF SUMMER. 100 FAVORITE ARTWORKS.
Seems that many of us are enjoying (and I use the term loosely) record summer heat waves, so I thought I'd cool off each day by posting some of my favorite works of art. Recently, I posted my Top 100 Classical Music Favorites, HERE, so I thought I'd do the same for the visual arts -- I'll post my Top 100 Favorite Works of Art -- one for each day of the summer until I hit 100.
NOTE: The works of art are NOT ranked. They are just my Top 100 Favorites. Click on the images to enlarge.
SPOILER ALERT 1: I am not into European art, religious art, Renaissance art, or surrealism so don't expect much of those types of art. There'll be a little -- but not a lot.
SPOILER ALERT 2: I'm a big fan of Edward Hopper.

I don't know whether or not you would include architecture in your 100 favorite artworks, but for the next two entries (for August 31 and September 1), I am going to include two of my favorites. I suppose I could include more -- but for now, I'll just include two. Hmm...maybe one day I can post a list of my favorite buildings?
