| The notion that "there's a pair of us" has also gripped Google's Arts & Culture app recently too. A feature in the app asks, "Is your portrait in a museum"? The app asks that you take a selfie, and then it searches "thousands of artworks to see if any look like you." NOTE: Currently this feature on the Google A & C app is available only in selected areas. I thought it would be interesting to see what matches would be made with the only known photograph of Emily Dickinson. However, I didn't stop there. I also tried the feature with a photograph of Cynthia Nixon as Emily Dickinson form the movie "A Quiet Passion", with the likeness of Emily Dickinson from a painting of her and her brother and sister, and a recently discovered image of a woman thought to be Emily Dickinson. |  |
