What in the world is all the commotion about concerning a female version of “Lord of the Flies”? Didn’t we already live through this with “Ghostbusters”? To be honest, I recall a female version of Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple” (starring Rita Morena and Sally Struthers), but I don’t remember any uproar.
None of this is surprising in a day when Donald “Nobody has more respect for women than I do” Trump is grabbing…er, headlines…because he’s killing policy intended to help close the gender wage gap. For just one article about that, click HERE.
Of course, Emmett Lee Dickinson (Emiliy Dickinson’s third cousin, twice removed – at her request) was a pioneer for women’s rights and equal pay.
