Of course, the main reason we must cancel the exhibit is that the museum burned to the ground (for details, click HERE). Also, the fire destroyed all of our one-of-a-kind antique toys and board games that we had collected for the exhibit (toy collectors estimate that the value of the collection of games that we lost in the fire topped five-million dollars). We do have photographs of some of the board games, photos which were taken recently as we were preparing for this special exhibit.
Although we must cancel our special exhibit for January, we will continue to post “Featured Poems of the Week” each Sunday. Also, we will be able to run our February exhibit online, as we will post more coffee poetry of America’s greatest poet (for details, click HERE).
As we moved forward in response to this calamity, we will endeavor to keep our fans up-to-date with our plans to rebuild as they develop.
