It’s Memorial Day Weekend – the unofficial start of summer! When is it officially summer? When the earth hits the summer solstice on Wednesday, June 21st. While it’s not officially the summer, we thought we’d share some other unofficial and official starts times for things associated with summer:

Romphim Season | As long as the fad lasts. | Never (and men who wear romphims will regret any photos in a matter of years if not months). |
And since it's unofficially summertime, we thought we'd post Emmett Lee Dickinson's now-classic poem, "It will be Summer -- eventually" (below on the left) -- the inspiration for the Jamie's summertime hit, "Summertime Summertime." Not only did Dickinson's poem inspire Tom Jameson to write "Summertime Summertime," it also inspired third cousin Emily to pen her poem "It will be Summer -- eventually" (below on the right).
