Everyone knows that Emmett Lee Dickinson (Emily Dickinson’s third cousin, twice removed –at her request) invented candy corn, and most people know that Dickinson established October 30th as National Candy Corn Day. However, there’s a lot more to know about candy corn, and we think that our “Top Ten Things You Probably Don’t Know about Candy Corn” will surprise you!

| NUMBER 10: The North American Candy Corn Council (NACCC), the organization that oversees the many and various events, pageants, displays, spectacles and parades associated with National Candy Corn Day, was founded by President Woodrow Wilson, a great fan of candy corn.
