NBC news recently reported that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called Trump a moron, and Trump went off the deep end.
 
“I think it’s fake news,” Trump said, “but if he did that, I guess we’ll have to compare IQ tests. And I can tell you who is going to win.”
 
Of course, it wasn’t fake news.  Tillerson did call Trump a moron (and more), so now Mensa has offered to host an IQ-test showdown.  

Trump is backing off the ultimatum now, though, saying it was all a joke.  Uh huh.  Classic Trump.   Lots of bluster and bravado – then high-tailin’ it with his tail between his legs!  I wonder how this will play with the #MAGA crowd, a.k.a. the Moron Tabernacle Choir.
 
Tillerson, a fan of the poetry of Emmett Lee Dickinson (Emily Dickinson’s third cousin, twice removed – at her request), has  admitted that he had recently read Dickinson’s poem “Oh, Moron – Star!” (below on the left) and immediately thought of Trump. 
 
“Dickinson was quite a visionary,” said Tillerson, “and it’s almost as if he were writing about Trump in the mid-1800s.”
 
Not only did Dickinson’s poem motivate Tillerson to think of Trump, it inspired third cousin Emily to pen her poem “Ah, Moon – and Star!” (below on the right).
