Tomorrow, Sandra Gilbert (Professor Emerita of English at the University of California, Davis, literary critic and poet) will present an Emily Dickinson Birthday Tribute at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC. She will explore the contemplation of death and grief in Dickinson’s poetry and her own.
