Everyone knows that Emmett Lee Dickinson (Emily Dickinson's third cousin, twice removed -- at her request) invented candy corn, but did you know that Dickinson's sister Qwerty Anne invented candy hearts? And to this day, all candy hearts are made in Washerst, PA (the birthplace of Emmett Lee Dickinson) at the Washerst Candy Heart Factory.
