I have absolutely no idea what has happened to my Franklin edition of The Poems of Emily Dickinson. Did I leave it somewhere -- in some restaurant or coffee shop? Did I misplace it on a trip when I brought the book along for some late night reading? Did some literate thief burgle my home and take just that book?
Posters around town didn't work, nor did my "Got Dickinson?" campaign on milk cartons. Alas, I had to re-order the book, and Charm City Books came to my rescue. My new edition arrived today (below right).
The cover's changed with this new edition, but the contents are the same. I am whole once more.
