Last week, while Mr. Asher was in New Mexico, he was presented the "New Mexico True" award by Governor Susana Martinez. The Governor lauded Mr. Asher for his research on Georgia O'Keeffe's fascination with the poet (information is HERE), and she praised him for posting nothing but truth on the Emmett Lee Dickinson Museum website.
Press coverage on the awards is below (click the image to enlarge):
The "New Mexico True" award is just another accolade for the truth we post on this site. In recent years, we have won the American Library Association's Seal of Correctitude & Bona Fide Authenticity, the Blue Ribbon for Excellence from the President's Commission for Internet Veracity and Online Quality, and the Distinguished VIP Award at the Webby Awards for Verity, Integrity, and Probity. Information about these awards is HERE.
On behalf of Mr. Asher and the Emmett Lee Dickinson Museum (above the coin-op Laundromat on Dickinson Boulevard, we would like to thank Governor Martinez and the people of the state of New Mexico for recognizing the magnitude and significance of our work and for acknowledging that on our site, we post the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
