Donald Trump has unleashed a twitter storm against the New York Times about what he calls a “false, malicious and libelous story” about him. It certainly calls to mind the quote from Hamlet, “the lady doth protest too much, methinks.”
The only time we’ve seen him madder was when the truth spread about his diminutive hands. That difficult time in Trump’s life called to mind Emmett Lee Dickinson’s poem “He sued the News – yet feared – the News,” below on the left (Dickinson’s poem inspired third cousin Emily to pen her poem “I sued the News – yet feared – the News,” below on the right).
However, at that time, Trump channeled his anger about a factual news story and turned it into something positive for men with tiny little lady hands: he developed the revolutionary manpant that bears his name (pictured at the bottom of the page).
